WAYS TO MAKE YOUR ELOPEMENT DAY MORE ECO FRIENDLY

First things first, practice the Leave No Trace principles . Following the 7 principles will help the environment drastically. Learn more about Leave No Trace on their website.
If you're popping a bottle, make sure you're keeping a close eye on where the cork lands so you don't leave it behind.
NO confetti or glitter bombs! You'd be surprised how many people still do this and leave it all over the ground. Animals will likely try to eat the confetti before it disappears assuming it's biodegradable. Glitter is plastic and so bad for the environment, there's no way to pick it up after so staying away from them is your best bet.
One of my favorite things you can do is have vow books made out of biodegradable seed paper! I personally did this for my elopement!
If you are inviting some people to the elopement opt for digital invitations instead to reduce waste.
Another thing you can do is pay attention to what vendors are eco friendly and consider hiring them!
These are just a few ways to make your elopement more eco friendly and have less of an impact on our planet.
